Early Intervention and Prevention Services
River Oak'south programs serve low-income, ethnically diverse emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and youth and their families throughout Sacramento County. Early Intervention and Prevention services are provided through our Birth and Across Family Resource Center providing comprehensive services and activities that provide parenting educational activity, school readiness, crunch intervention, home visitation and connect families to resources in the community. The Resource Center serves expectant families and children upward to age 17 years. Early on Head Start Home Teaching Plan provides home visitation for expectant families and children up to the age of 3 years with weekly domicile visits by an early childhood educator.
Intensive Community-based Services Division
Programs to serve children and youth with high needs for behavioral health services. Wraparound serves at take a chance children at risk of losing electric current placement. Therapeutic Behavior Services provides firsthand stabilization of high-risk behaviors. Juvenile Justice Diversion and Treatment and Multi-Systemic Therapy partner with Probation to meet the specific needs of youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Dialectical Behavior Therapy incorporates mindfulness and Cognitive Beliefs Therapy to help youth having difficulty controlling their emotions and behaviors.
Flexible Integrated Treatment
Community based programs roofing a wide range of flexible integrated treatment interventions, including multiple nationally recognized bear witness-based programs. Treatment plans are created to encounter the child or youth'due south individual needs. Ages range from birth to 21 yrs. Programs include Functional Family unit Therapy, The Incredible Years, Motivational Interviewing, Coping Cat, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Teaching Pro-Social Skills and Trauma-Focused Cerebral Behavioral Therapy.
Support Services
River Oak has the services of seven board certified pediatric or adolescent psychiatrists to practise evaluations, monitor medication, consult and offer case management throughout all of River Oak's programs. Staff psychologists provide assessment, psychological testing and consultation. Family unit and Youth Advocates are available to all youth and families for support equally the multiple systems of care are navigated. This ensures that the family unit and youth vocalism is heard throughout all planning and treatment.
